Kivett Bednar is a blues musician, amp maker, and visual artist. He’s based in Portland, OR, originally from Austin, TX. He is known for his heartfelt, gritty blues sound and has received awards for his work, including a Muddy Award for Best New Act. He also played with the band The Pining Hearts, which won Best Local Band and Best Indie Rock Band in Willamette Week’s Best of Portland. Additionally, Kivett has worked on albums with other bands and has been featured in media coverage. He is also a tube amp circuit designer and was formerly head tech at Benson Amps.
