Ten Spiders is a regional folk rock band with a jammy edge based out of Portland, Oregon. Front person Rossi radiates an indisputable passion, crooning the sweetest high notes to belting it, blues-style. The songs are buoyed by masterful guitar influenced by decades of playing banjo. Set to appealing, often funky grooves, witty lyrics reflect the angst and joy of life in the modern world.

The name Kolisha literally means “voice of a woman” in Hebrew. Ironically in the context of Israeli and Jewish culture this phrase is used to silence women, forbidding them to sing in public. Tamar Farber (Lead Vocals and primary songwriter) grew up in a strictly orthodox community and was never allowed to pursue her passion for music. Kolisha is a new band, but in many ways it was always meant to be. Tamar writes about the journey of self-discovery and love that crosses divides. Her songs do not shy away from political commentary and a touch of activism. Kolisha is an alternative rock band from Portland, Oregon. Band members: Tamar Farber (lead vocals), Michael Newman(guitar), Dave Platt(bass), Naama Friedman (keys) and Ian Nau(drums) bring decades of creativity and skill to their music.
