The Get Down Funk Collective

The Get Down Funk Collective is a dynamic and energetic music ensemble with a rotating lineup made up of some of Portland’s finest.  Known for its infectious blend of funk, soul, R&B, and jazz influences.  Their sound features tight rhythms, groovy bass lines, and powerful horn sections, often complemented by engaging vocals.

This ensemble includes Chelsea Luker on sax/flute/vocals, Tate Peterson on guitar, Galen Clark on keys, Sydney Nash on bass and Brian Foxworth on drums and vocals.
