That’s What She Said and AC Sapphire Present:
From Boulder to Brooklyn, April Gloom blends the ethereal and dream realms, twisting them into her own version of Bedroom Pop. Singer/songwriter and producer, April makes her songs in her room. She embraces ambient noises in her compositions, catching sounds of rain and wind in her recordings. Gloom blends these natural and artificial sounds, utilizing synths and drum machines. Taking inspiration from the likes of the Space Lady, Alice Phoebe Lou, and Julee Cruise, she loves to play around with ethereal timbres. With her debut album, Planet Gloom, she specifically plays with these cosmic, whimsical textures. Swirling tension and release, and drowning in reverb, April Gloom’s newest album takes you to different, dreamy head space.
Brett Sisun has been alive since 1990, and has been tootin’ round the world ever since, writing lil’ songs, makin lil’ laughs, and exploring the limits of his imagination. He gives his life to comedy, music, and performance and is thrilled to bring an audience through the gamut of emotional trials: excitement, hilarity, sorrow, embarrassment, more hilarity, lament, and finally, if able, joy.
I am a singer-songwriter out of the old Portland Oregon. I love writing lyrically driven music.
