Event Details

Pulp Western is a band raised under the country stars but destined for tall buildings and bright lights. They’re children of the Wild West who yearned for the boom and hustle of loud city barrooms, yet couldn’t outrun the simpler notions of their past. The band’s sound, inspired by the ever-progressing spirit of country music, combines vintage countrypolitan from Music Row with undercurrents of grit from their disparate outlaw country influences as well. This can also be seen in their covers of choice ranging from Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn to Kacey Musgraves and Sturgill Simpson. Whatever your brand of country music might be, Pulp Western and their Electric Country Revue has a song for you and yours.
“Shining elements of The Byrds (12-string jangle), Tom Petty, Neil Young (the guitar solos), and the Allman Brothers (nice mix of Hammond and dual guitars) sprinkled tastefully throughout! The 12 songs on There’s No Denying Josephine represent all of their best elements each one with its own little angle on the whole picture the band is presenting.”
Ray Gianchetti – Kool Kat Musik
Nina Yates is a Portland, Oregon based singer songwriter who pulls you into her stories with thoughtful and distinctive songs. A slow, tender and delicate drag, yet fierce with lived emotion, the wisdom of a mother, the comfort of a sister and the heartbreak of a daughter.
