Sequoia Rose is no stranger to the bluegrass community. He is an award-winning bluegrass/jam band multi-instrumentalist and vocalist residing in Humboldt County, California. From Huntington, West Virginia Sequoia was raised in a musical family who played at churches, revivals, and local bluegrass events, they quickly became a crowd favorite in the area.

Sequoia began playing mandolin with some of the best bluegrass bands in the area when he was 14 and later became an established music teacher in the area at 16 years old. When he was 18 years old, he recorded a three-song EP with some of the best pickers of our time, among the multi-award-winning instrumentalists Andy Leftwich, Scott Vestal, Cody Kilby, Randy Kohrs, and Barry Bales.
