Formed in 2017, The Light Fantastic is a Portland, Oregon based instrumental quartet offering a hip-shaking, orchestrated and eclectic mix of 50-70’s jazz-funk inspired psychedelic rockin’ and groovin’ tunes, from deep-cut covers to smoking originals.

Inspiration and influence can be seen from the likes of Jimmy Smith, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, The Crusaders, Roy Ayers, The Meters, Hot Tuna, Al Green, George Benson, Funkadelic, Stevie Wonder, The Brothers Johnson, Freddie Hubbard, Frank Zappa, and so many more!
